And here we thought our DSLR had abundant pixel resolution! Pretty exciting news in the world of photography and cameras as Phase One x Alpa introduces the A-Series Camera which combines a Phase One digital medium format back with an Alpa body. The combination of the medium format back with an Alpa body allows for traditional manual controls with today’s latest technology. Technology such as A250’s new CMOS-based IQ250 back that can connect to a smartphone or tablet and allows the user to check the details of the photos prior to taking a shot. Three models are offered: the A280 equipped with 80-megapixels, good for those seeking maximum resolution, the A260 60-megapixel is most ideal for long exposures and the A250 50-megapixel which offers the best low-light capabilities. Along with the cameras, a choice of three lenses are available, the Alpagon 5.6/23mm, Alpar 4.0/35mm and the Alpagon 5.6/70mm, which are equivalent to 15mm, 22mm and 45mm lenses on full frame cameras.To learn more, visit PhaseOne for complete specs and pricing.
